1. Overview

This Privacy Policy explains what information ODORE UG ("we", "us", "our") collects when you use Browser Robot and this website, and how we use it. Browser Robot is designed to run locally on your machine; by design, your browsing activity, passwords, cookies, and sessions stay on your device and are not transmitted to us.

2. What we collect

• License data: When you activate a license, we store a machine identifier (a hashed, non-reversible fingerprint), your license key, and activation timestamps. This is required to enforce the terms of your license.
• Payment & contact data: If you purchase a license, our payment processor collects the data needed to process the payment. We receive confirmation of the transaction and the email address you provide so we can issue and deliver your license key.
• Website analytics: This website may use privacy-friendly, anonymized analytics (no cross-site tracking, no advertising cookies). We use this only to understand aggregate usage and improve the site.
• What we do NOT collect: We do not collect your browsing history, the pages you visit, your login credentials, or cookies. Page content that you send to the AI is processed by our managed LLM proxy under our account; we do not store the content of your sessions beyond what is needed to fulfill the request.

3. How we use your data

• To activate and validate your license and prevent abuse.
• To deliver license keys and respond to support requests.
• To process payments through our payment provider.
• To improve the product and this website through anonymized analytics.

4. Legal basis (GDPR)

Where the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) applies, we process your data on the following legal bases: performance of a contract (Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR) for license activation and delivery; legitimate interest (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR) for security and abuse prevention; and your consent (Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR) for optional analytics.

5. Data retention

We retain license and activation records for the duration of your license and as long as required for tax and accounting obligations (typically up to 10 years under German law). Anonymized analytics are retained in aggregated form only.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you have the right to access, rectify, erase, restrict, and port your personal data, and to object to processing. To exercise these rights, contact us at [email protected]. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

7. Third-party providers

• Payment: Our payment processor handles payments on our behalf.
• AI providers: Page content that you send to the AI is processed by our managed LLM proxy, which calls the underlying model provider under our account and contract.
• We do not sell your data to third parties.
